After six revisions on paper and one on the fly, there now exists a ninja-style obstacle course where there wasn’t one before. Nearing the end of the build, I began questioning my sanity. These obstacles look so much easier on the television. But I’ll be damned if it isn’t fun to keep trying. There are 12 obstacles not counting the rope I still need to attach to the salmon ladder and the plyo box I need to build. So, it will be 14 obstacles inside a 12’x12’x12’ box. There’s a flow designed into this where you can go from one obstacle to the next without stopping. Maybe someday I’ll be able to pull that off. But, for now...ouch!

I'm often asked about the nutty things I do when I exercise, so I decided to do a compilation video of several of them. This is an advanced combo move that can be performed repeatedly as it brings you back full circle. Its aim is to target most of the main muscle groups and core. It uses one light and one medium weight set, but one should be careful in choosing which weights are best suited for one's ability level. Always take care in keeping your joints in proper alignment (especially the knees and spine). |
